Third trip to Europe, third new sweater. This one is from Iceland with the traditional Icelandic pattern around the neck. I was also very happy to buy the wool stocking cap, as my Aussie hat kept blowing off in the high winds unless I kept my hand on it. So now I am all equipped for a cold Michigan winter.
While shopping (and stopping at a bakery for a treat) we ran into a couple of trolls who agreed to have their picture taken. Sure glad they those polar bears with them were tame!
Now that we've complete our morning shopping and had lunch, we are ready for our afternoon excursion to Godafoss Falls and the Botanical Gardens.

Mary was brave. Don't think I could have turned my back on them...tee-hee. Love the new sweater!! Didn't recognize you with out your Aussie hat!! Glad it didn't blow off into the ocean, as I can't imagine them turning the ship around to go get it LOL. I think some whale or shark would have had a new hat! Any Schott family in that area? I wish the ship had arrived at that port in day light, I would have loved seeing the mountains on either side of the channel. Have fun, Sylvia
Love the sweater and hat Bill , looks warm and I'm glad you didn't loose your Aussie hat . You may need to buy another one on your next trip here just in case :-) Sylvia , I can imagine Bill trying to get the ship turned around to get his hat if it blow into the water ha . Mary , you were very brave getting your photo taken with those trolls and bears :-) Can you imagine Shayla getting her photo taken with them , no way :-) Enjoy your holiday
