Sea Day #5

We had an interesting final sea day of this cruise.  I played sudoku and, again, came in second.  Later did golf putting and tied for 2nd place.  That wrapped up the games for this cruise.

Just after 3pm, we encountered a severe storm with lots of thunder and lightning, and even some hail!  During this time, the ship was hit with 60 mph wind  directly on the port side, causing the ship to list between 3 and 5 degrees!  The strong wind even forced some water through our balcony door.  I happened to be walking on deck 8 at the time and it was very noticeable.

We spent the afternoon packing and getting ready for our trip home.

In the past Princess has always had a turkey dinner for the last evening.  But tonight they surprised us with prime rib!  To top it off, there was Baked Alaska for dessert.  A very delicious send-off meal.

So now we have to complete our suitcase packing and set them out in the hallway to be picked up.  In the morning we will get our shuttle to LaGuardia for our afternoon flight home.  It's been a very enjoyable anniversary cruise!  Next up, Seattle and Alaska in 57 days.
