Another "relaxing" day at sea. It might have been a bit more relaxing had we not experienced 12' waves overnight! Yes, we were rocking and rolling quite a bit until they subsided somewhat around 7:30 am. After getting up we went to breakfast in the Horizon Buffet (front of the ship, deck 14) and noticed a lot more movement in the ship there compared to our room (midship, deck 10). I am SO glad we are in this cabin (C327).
In the morning we attended a port lecture about our next stop, then headed to "Pub Lunch", featuring British pub food. Mary had Fish and Chips while I enjoyed Bangers and Mashed (including Mary's mushie peas). We both had Bread Pudding for dessert. It was delicious!
After lunch I played bridge while Mary read on the balcony. It's getting a bit brisk outside as we head south, but was very sunny.
We had supper in the buffet tonight and had a table at the front of the ship. As we were finishing our meals, Mary spotted a whale spout! As we watched, we saw quite a few more. Very cool!
Last night when I went for cookies at the International Cafe, I did not see any. As I waited, the chef came out and asked "are you waiting for your cookies?" I was perplexed, as to how she knew that, but said yes. It turns out they were hidden in a corner. I still have no idea how she knew that's what I was there for!
Tomorrow we visit a glacier at 7:30 am, then on to Puerto Arenas the next day, where we will visit a penguin colony.
Baby David update: He is greatly improved! They think the lung is inflating (chest xray pending to confirm) and he is starting to eat. Most tubes have been removed and he is being moved out of an isolette. Prayers are being answered!

Hope you dont get sea sick . Enjoy your holiday Pat
We prayed for Baby David in church yesterday, so glad to hear he is improving. I will be living vicariously through you guys for the next 20+ days as you continue your cruise. It looks wonderful. My husband was stationed in Buenos Aires with Ford for over a year and he took a side trip to Ushuaia. I think it was the highlight of his time there. This is a trip I would very much like to make!
