Day 10 - Quebec

We arrived at Quebec early this morning. The view above this text is from our balcony. After breakfast, Mary and I took a walk into the city since we docked right downtown.

After some souvenir shopping we took the funicular up to the old city and walked toward the old fort, which predates the Revolutionary War.  I decided to make the climb to the top of the old fort which was quite a steep hike.
Later we visited the Holy Trinity Church (right), which was the first Anglican cathedral in the New World.
After returning to the ship we enjoyed a nice lunch, watched a movie while packing our suitcases, then tried to keep tabs on the Michigan-Wisconsin football game (Go Blue! 14-7!!)
Tonight we saw a folkloric show by a local dance company.  It included step dancing, wooden spoon playing, and humor.

Tomorrow is a travel day so this is possibly the last post for this vacation. We are taking an excursion from the ship that will take us to various Quebec sites, then to the airport for our flight back to Detroit.
